Auto-Rx in Volvos?
I've bought a 1999 v70 r awd with 50,000 miles and I'm loving it! I've researched the internal engine and transmission cleaner, Auto-Rx, and only find positive feedback all across the web in all sorts of vehicles. Has anyone on this board had occasion to use this stuff in their Volvo engine and/or transmission? What were the results? FYI, their web site and forums are located at www.auto-rx.com. I just posted a couple of questions there about flickering warning lights. Any information would be appreciated!

RE: Auto-Rx in Volvos?
Hi John,
Great to hear you have bought yourself a V70 R AWD. You will have loads of fun in it! Sorry I have never used or even heard of the product "auto RX". Do you have an Auto geatbox? If so I would suggest you replace the transmission fluid at your next service, this is a good thing to do say every 50K miles as it will help to reduce long term gearbox wear. But beware it is not cheap, perhaps as much as £150, but well worth it. Patrick 2000 V70 R AWD Laser Blue |
