Default 1999 S80 2.9 died on me yesterday

Hi I am hoping you can help.

I was driving yesterday and all was well then suddenly the engine lights (oil, battery etc ) came on and the revs dropped to zero. The car is dual fuel so after turning it over a couple of times (it turns over fine but does not start or show any signs of starting) I switched to petrol and had the same outcome. I have both LPG and petrol. I left the car for a couple of hours but still no joy.

I was recovered home and today I checked the fault codes and I have the following but I am not sure if any would stop the engine starting.

P1182 Fuel shutoff solenoid
P1330 Can't find any info
P1159 Fuel stepper motor
P1172 Rotor control fault.

I am about to check fuses but any help would be most appreciated .

Dave

A fuse has blown number 17 Engine control, misc relays. Just about to look in Haynes manual. As I suspected the manual is completely useless and none of the fuse numbers tie up with the ampage and description on the cover.

Any one know what the engine fuse 17 feeds? a search says it's the coil packs I have disconnected all of them and it still blows. I am not sure this is the right area but would make sense.

Found the problem. The wiring loom for the coil packs is shot. I made a tempory fix and the engine starts now but will need to rewire all the connections as insulation very brittle.
