Well I just now saw this post... Like I said, I don't read every post every day. Best bet is to email directly.

I think these are the ig. cylinder and door locks you are looking for.

I had someone ask me about this ig. cylinder over the weekend so waiting to hear back from him.

Thus drop me a note directly....

Hi Chris can you send me your E mail address and also I shall post a photo of the Rear part of my Ignition switch,it is a armour cable that runs to the coil,I take it the part you have Clips into the part I have ?
I can start my car with a screw driver as there is a small slot inside the top part of the armour cable.
Hope I described that correctly Thanks Andy

Andy, I can be reached directly at agent_strangelove@hotmail.com

Yes, the armoured cable and coil are all one unit. I don't think I can help you out with the armoured coil and cable as I think the ones for right hand drive car were different from a Left hand drive. I will take a photo or two tonight.... But if you are using a flat blade screwdriver to start the car, it sounds like your coil is fine. Or has it been cut apart?

Best to send a photo or two.

Chris

The attached are photos of a standard coil. Is this what you are looking for? Best to measure the length of your RHD ones to see if an LHD one would work...

rhd ones are much longer. I don't have the measurement to hand, but based on a visual comparison, possibly by much as double the length.

No guys I have the armour cable and the car runs fine ,what I couldnt picture in my head was the part you have being the Ignition switch with keys in the earlier photo.
So if my guessing is correct the Ign switch you have should click into the armour cable I have and job done
I was nt sure if any parts were missing from the puzzle Cheers Andy
