Hi,

I'm chasing a manifold. I have a 4-2-1 KG 3 manifold but that may not work the best with the setup I'm planning. 940 turbo offered me some advice and says it will work but pushes the power up to higher revs which probably isn't ideal. I think the best manifold is the one from the fuel injection cars and I did have one but sold it (doh) so am on the lookout. Is this the best one as most seem to be single.

Thanks regarding the mudflap brackets and will have a look at the ones I have on the car.

Mitch, Is is just the manifold or do you also need carbs?

Cheers

Scott

Hi Scott,
I have a set of carbs but are an unknown quantity so really just chasing the manifold and linkages but if someone has a set of good running carbs atba reasonable price will snap them up as well.

Cheers,

Mitch

Unless you've good reason to have the alloy inlets to go with an FI or chopped single carb manifold, you're best choice is the 1 piece iron one with twin outlets; late B18, poss early B20. No problems with stepped washers etc with that one and reckoned to be the best standard manifold for flow. As Paul said, Simons will work well at reasonable cost. It could also be used with your 4 branch by cutting down the front pipe to match if you decide to use it.

Paul. 221 is a new acquisition, only collected last Saturday. Not quite the same spec as yours as it has a B18 in it.

Mitch. I think this thread is getting a bit diverse for the Wants section. Do you want to start over in the General one or as a new Project, as suggested?
