Cheers guys.... I feel like a right tw@t and rightly so, I will fight to get that £250.... But here is really odd turn of events....

I contacted the seller on auto-trader, he has never heard of the guy I am dealing with, so its safe to say that the images have taken and used fraudulently.

But also, when I called the initial guy he also claimed that his ad has been used in the same way..... Confusing or what...

Anyway, I told him that I was not happy with the direct things are going and I wish for my deposit to be returned, oddly he agreed and I am waiting now for the funds to come back into my account..... We shall see right?...

But what a damn weird turn of events.... I feel such pleb, I know better...

@Dave - Paypal have nothing to do with it, the transfer was between bank accounts, paypal never came into it as I had been told that they never had a paypal.... Should have known there and then...


This car is a £6K car all day long given the Unicorn spec, I am pi$$ed at the scammer naturally but I am more disappointed in myself...

Yes I know, I have also passed on the contact number of the guy from eBay to see what sort of answers Autotrader man gets in regards to the advert...
