Nice mercs everything is built out of rubbish mate cars have become computer controlled ballacks bring back distributors,points and condensers along with good old fashion diesel principles non of this software download crap.

Well, we have a 2007 V50 2.0D which we've had almost from new; mileage today is 36k.
Apparently BOTH shock absorbers leaking resulting in MOT Failure!!! UNBELIEVABLE!

Let me guess you took it to a garage to get your mot done and was duly done. Always get your mot done at a mot only centre where they don't do repairs. My last car had leaking shocks as a advice 4 years running. Never had a car fail a mot since I stop letting garages mot them.
