Lower radio mount plate
Does anybody have a fascia for mounting the radio in the lower position under the heater controls? Being about to install the full set of auxiliary gauges up top I am going to have to relocate mine. I can measure it all up and make something, but if anyone here has something that will fit straight off, that would make my life a bit easier. I've seen new ones available in the US, but nothing in the UK.

I think I have one from a very early 240. I'll look in the garage this coming weekend and let you know if I find it.

I used a fascia from Citroen Xantia, like this one:

If the radio you want to fit is a single DIN unit you can just sit it in the lower slot, usually the fitting kit for the lower position is for older two knob car radios that needed a support to keep them in place.
For a few years I had the twin unit from a 760, with the tunner/equalizer in the top position and the cassette player in the lower position, then swapping to radio cassette in the top and cd in the lower. Scott |
