Hi all
I have got a lot of movement from the engine. I have replaced the bottom stabiliser bar. When accelerating you can see the gear stick move several inches! When i switch off the engine you can feel the engine rock as it stops. How many mountings are there on a diesel 440? Thanks for any help.

The diesel engine in the 440 really was an afterthought and the little Dutch boys found that there were no good places to pick up the renault engine.
So they hung it in a cradle and then hung the cradle from fairly high up on the inner wings
Even from new the engine moved a lot and customers commented on the gearlever jumping up and down in the hand as you go on and off the throttle
You are unlikely to cure this......... so don't chase rainbows, just enjoy the power.
