Sorry to resurrect an old thread. My inlet hose has just gone on mine.
this thread (super helpful) gives volvo part number 9180625

Is this the same part as used on VW transporter engines? Does any one know the vw part number?

I havent got mine off yet to se if its repairable but will try both volvo and VW part stores/breakers in morning if they are the same bit?

cheers
w

My v70 2.5 tdi is having exact same problem. The local Volvo repair trimmed off a bit of the hose end and put it back on. But this just a temporary fix. They refuse to fix this with anything other than original parts and this is discontinued. What a headache. My research this far indicates that Audi and wv is not similar in these hoses. Really looking for a solution, the car runs great and economical but I may have to permanently put it out of service....Too bad....

should be 074121058F but its not same shape, although same function and goes to oil cooler. Found this: http://buscentr.com.ua/Volkswagen-Tr...zhdeniya_79912 , and under the diagram is an image of the acual part, looks the same to me. Could be a mix-up or a coincidence.
