miss firing in no-5 pot
love my black 850se 2.o/20v, no probs at all for 4.5yrs, been reving eractickly for about 5 weeks, changed rota arm, cap, leads, fuel relay, cleaned idle valve, flame shield out, cleaned inlet, maf sensor working, lamba sensor working.
high reving at start, then when waiting at lights ect, (think i was boy racer, escort gone 35 odd yrs now!) changed exhuast, high revs at start now but when driving wants to cut out when slowing down roundabouts ect, noticed to that not firing in no 5 pot, commpression test ok, yesterday needed extra push on brake pedal for final stop in driveway. (vacume pipe on servo?) help please local volvo dealer techies not helpful unless car through their door. |

Have you checked the plugs?
Have you checked the connector on No. 5 fuel injector? |

I'm a bit puzzled as to how the popping sound has confirmed fuel to No.5, how did you identify that No. 5 is missing?
