Thinking of changing the alloys on my MY18 V90. Fancy some black alloys to match the car. Looking for recommendations for suppliers/fitters in the North West area around Warrington where I can see or chat to them before buying.

Currently on 18" rims, not sure if changing the size to 19 or 20" would require any recalibration of anything or what effect on the ride there would be. Hence the ability to talk to them first to help me decide.

With wider rims, lower profile tyres are used to keep the overall combined rim+tyre diameter consisted.

No recalibration should be necessary but lower profile tyres mean stiffer tyre sidewalls which will mean a firmer ride.

Maybe Wheelsmart at Lowton off the East Lancs? Haven’t used them but been going a long time.

Hi,
You could try PX Wheels. Address is:

Unit 1, Poulton Industrial Estate, Furness Drive, Poulton-le-Fylde FY6 8JS
Tel. 01253 892293

Only just over an hour away or they deliver I believe. Might be worth checking their website.
Best wishes
Fred
