Cooler/heater box fitting.
I want to fit the cooler heater box accessory in the rear of my 2016 V70.
Can anyone please tell me if this is an easy fit? I removed the rear R/H side panel and see a cable with plug. Is this the feed for the cooler box? I have asked some main dealers and get a rather blank look then they get the idea I will need a whole new cable run taking some considerable time and expense. I can buy the power socket for about £30 and it seems logical the cable I found could well be the link I need but possibly will need activating at the other end where ever that is. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

Many people on here have said that this is very straightforward to fit, particularly as many cars seem to have the loom extension already in place. If that is the case with your car then it is probably only needed to cut a hole, fix the socket in the panel and then plug in the lead.
Instructions show installation including the new loom, if not already there: https://accessories.volvocars.com/In...20(08-)%202016 |
