I´ve heard that there is maybe a new soundsystem in the XC60 (Premium sound, Dynaudio today), does anyone know if this is true, and what kind of system the new will be?

Thanks

The Potential inaccuracy of the on board computers puzzle me, not a factor I'd considered before, next fill up I'll note the quantity and mileage and do a manual calculation.
What sort driving conditions make up your consumption of 36.2mpg?

Hi All,

My local Dealer says the XC60 MY11 (UK) spec sheet was just released back end last week.

Can someone please move this thread to the XC60 thread?

I keep checking it thinking that someone has posted the 2011 XC90 brochure, and it seems to be just about the XC60 now.

THanks

Dealdrivers has XC90 prices now for 2011. Seems Premium model net extra ( RTI and bluetooth) price has come down from around £1900 to £1400.

Also has info on the model leadtimes and other option prices.

I've got a paper copy of the new XC90 MY2011 brochure. Very little has changed for the Exec - which is what I've ordered.

Engine specs remain the same, main price is the same and the only real change for the XC90 Exec is the inclusion of factory integrated Bluetooth in all Execs and Premiums and the dropping of the Dynaudio for something Volvo is calling ‘Premium Sound System, which is apparently now based on a Harman Kardon system.

It will be interesting to see the feedback on the new Harman Kardon system compared to the previous Dynaudio system...

Could you check to see the Volvo pricing for the following please?

Active Geartronic
Active Geartronic Premium

Bluetooth (standalone price)
Electric drivers seat( standalone price)
Active Headlamps (standalone price)
Winter pack (standalone price and what it includes).

Thanks

Hi,

With regard to the single CD drive and USB connection (i.e. NOT the extra cost USB/IPOD option) can you answer these queries?

- Where physically is the connection and is it on a flylead?
- What control is available from the steering wheel controls (if any)?
- Can a USB stick/hard disk be connected?

Thanks,

Ian

Default XC90 USB Audio options

It is my understanding that there are 4 options:

- single CD + USB connection
- 6 x CD changer and NO USB connection
- 6 x CD changer and 'USB & iPOD Music Interface' connection (extra £412 cost for this)

As for the 4th option single CD + USB connection + 'USB & iPOD Music Interface' connection too, I don't actually know if this is a relevant option!!

Also I don't know is what extra functionality you get with the 'USB & iPOD Music Interface' option for £412 over and above the USB connection included with the single CD as standard.
