New to me S90 2018. Just fitted a sim in. On average excluding media how much data do you need/use for an average month.

Next to nothing, the odd over the air map update typically uses around 200 - 300 mb, unless other passengers are using the cars wifi hotspot there is not much else uses it if you are not using it for streaming music. VOC (Volvo car app) will use your Sim instead of it's own data while you have a Sim inserted but again that is very little.

I use Spotify at High or sometimes Extreme quality on virtually every journey (average about 15k miles/annum) and usually use less than 4gb per month.

Cheapest way I've found is to use a Lebara sim (MVNO on Vodafone) which at worst is £5/month but often you can get decent offers bringing this down to below £3.

I bought a 3gb Three SIM and installed it on the 1st of October, it's used 180Mb so far, but I don't use Spotify.

It's my understanding that you can have a free SIM if you have the car serviced by a Franchised Volvo Dealer. I have a bucket load of data on my mobile so I have never bothered with it as I find my 5G is sufficient.
