Question [T6] Turbo or power issues

Hi

Not long had my 2002 T6 and still getting used to how it works so to speak.

When booting it to overtake starting out at about 50 mph, it sometimes, at
about 5 - 6000 revs seams to really liven up and throw me into the back of
the seat, but, it does not always do this...

Sometimes its just normal foot down and it goes, nothing special, but other
times it can really kick in at the revs i stated above (or there abouts)
  1. Is this a known issue?
  2. is it an issue at all?
  3. if it is can it be rectified?

The off side (drivers) Headlamp wiper does not work, is there a separate fuse
or is this a seized motor?

There is a like a rumbling from the back end, sort of like a muffled
knocking, (dull knocking) all the time when hitting the slightest of bumps,
It does sound like the exhaust knocking, but could this be anything worse?

Back to the front, (i think) there is a dull whine from about 20 - 30mph onwards, i am assuming this is a wheel bearing issue?

The car is under warranty for the next 2 years and under the garage warranty
for the 1st 30 days, so i would like to get theses sorted before the 30 days is up
Whats your opinions please on the above issues?

it should accelerate more or less the same everytime.... to find out whats really going on you idearly need to fit a boost gauge.... but this isnt always to peoples liking...

Hi, thanks for the reply!

Would Volvo or the like have something to test it or would i be best to fit
something like this myself?

Where is the best place to get these from and are they easy to fit?

volvo should be able to test it.... i suppose its how often it does it! my guess is that its not boosting properly(or loosing boost) most of the time & every now & then its going like it should.....

if its under warrenty then really they should fix it....

the only worry is if for some reason its over boosting.... which isnt always good for engines....

Yeah this sounds feasible, there may even be a small leak in 1 of the pipes?
Out of about 5 tries i would say it really kicks in perhaps once or perhaps twice.
I do hear the turbos spooling ok so there deffo work, it just depends on how well!
