Question Atf

Can anyone tell me where I can buy Mobil 3309 ATF, I believe this is what is branded by Volvo.
I can get what I think is the same from Elkparts, for Saab (Aisin-Warner 55) but at nearly £9 a litre plus shipping its still not cheap, if you want 8lts for a flush/change
The only place I've seen it for sale is in the USA and they could not ship to the UK.
I've tried a few transmission re-conditioners, but I just get "stick Dextron III in mate" it'll be ok.
The Mobil website does recomend this for Volvo Aisin Warner autos.

Default Atf 3309

Hello,

I live in Australia and purchased 20 litres of mobil ATF 3309 direct from the Mobil depot for $192 Australian dollars in April 07. I was not able to purchase from any of the auto parts distributors. Mobil can be contacted by looking at their Web site.

PS. Did the change in my 2001 S60 and it was a BIG improvement!

Cheers

Hi Steve
Glad Mobil worked for you.
Tried Mobil UK, they do not import 3309 into the UK yet, but have noted the number of enquiries.

Steveshaw,
Elkparts were only charging £4-00 ltr for that stuff last year! You can try 'euro parts for saabs' , or something like that on google & they do it for £5-00 odd /ltr. Dont think you will find any cheaper.....if you do, let me know .
Cheers
Dave
