Radio
My v70 55plate has some strange after market cd/radio fitted and its poop.
Has anyone a clue as to what genuine volvo radio would fit it. Seems to be a lot of model numbers that may or may not fit it.

Is it a facelift dash or not?
HU850 if facelift, 803 if not should fit. Backlights may not working though. |

I would be wary of spending so much on a radio which has volvo security , the radios should only work in the car they were built with , so likely they simply will not work ( or work for 10 seconds then cut out ) Best to keep what you have if you are selling the car ...

No matter what the car had originally, if all the genuine connectors are still in there it should be no problem to go with the HU-650. If the car had the HU-850 you'll find an amplifier under driver's seat (if it wasn't removed) - you'll need to fish inside the dash for two grey connectors hidden and wrapped in foam. The HU-650 will not use the amplifier cable but you need one that comes from a very close year to be sure it matches the same software and has no compatibility problems https://youtu.be/xziIajbfxdA
