Default Turbo Leaking?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me?, I have just bought a torslanda 940, and a few days ago I noticed steam coming out of the exhaust, under the bonnet I could hear a hissing, it seems to be coming from from the Turbo casing, when I pinch the top water feed pipe the hissing stops, so has something gone in the water jacket?, is this possibly a seal?, if so where can I obtain replacements? or does anyone know the dimensions / materials?.
Thanks

I'm not into overhauling turbos to component level, but AFAIK the water jacket has no parts, if its leaking you need a replacement/remanufactured turbo.

Is the coolant level dropping? Is the turbo boosting? If the seals are blown within the turbo water can pass through and exit the exhaust as steam. When does this happen? after a lengthy idle?

Very unlikely that the CRA water jack is leaking in to the exhaust side.

By-pass the water cooling for the turbo (like you would a heater core) and see if you still are losing coolant. Just be careful to let the turbo cool down while like this.

My guess would be a banjo fitting or a hose, or hose clamp.
The turbo seals are only for oil. So no water is involved.
