Wanted: V70 d5 se

Bit of a longshot but thought I'd ask!

I'm looking for a v70 d5 se with manual box, preferably facelift euro III engine, so 2004/2005.

If anyone is thinking of selling and is not a million miles from Gatwick airport then let me know what you have!

Hi matey,

I got a really nice V70 2004, 54 plate manual D5 SE.

Metallic burgundy red, 146,00 miles - it drives like brand new, no smoke, rattles, squeaks, nice and tight.

Had it for 3 years, looked hard to find a nice manual one as cheaper to tax & cheaper of fuel. Never had a scrap of trouble with it.

usual SE spec, winter pack (heated electric leather interior, ice cold air con (never re-gassed, still ice cold from the factory).

Its the earlier model, i.e. 5 speed box, but got the later nicer looking (Orestes) alloys.

All the toys, towpack, boot liner, etc.

the only issue is that the 'alarm needs a service. i.e. the battery in the siren is dead - £19.95 for a new battery, but i've never bother to change it.

never had any other warning lamps, etc, just done the routine servicing, never done anything else, never needed it!

excellent condition.

It is not up for sale, just fancying a change.

£2495 - I am in Birmingham - the only issue is that we are going on holiday in it on Saturday for 2 weeks, but available after that - you could always view & leave a deposit if you wanted to secure it.
