Volvo V70 SE TDI
I am selling my 1998 V70 TDI in Nautic blue.
Milleage 320000 Manual Gearbox Good Points MOT until May 2020 New Intercooler, air con radiator and air con pump in February 2019 New air con pressure hose in October 2019 and Re Gas Timing belts and water pump done at 297000 miles so the main belt is good for a while. Auxiliary belt and tensioners replaced in March 2019 Serviced in August 2019 at 317000 miles Two new front tyres Michelin Crossclimates replaced in October 2019 after a puncture. The rears are also Crossclimates and in good condition. Pile of bits as well. 3 Door cards, front and rear caliper rebuild kits with seals ect. Pair of front calipers, need rebuilding. Some trim bits for the tailgate and a repair kit for it as well. Spare MAF. Too many other parts replaced during my ownership to list but includes drive shafts, steering rack, engine mounts etc. etc. Volvo towbar fitted, not used that much. Bad points Tatty front seats. The leather is ripped on both but the heaters work ok The door card inserts are sagging but I have three (not drivers side) good replacements ready to fit. The rest of the interior is good. Tatty alloy wheels 15” Antilla. I have 4 replacements sandblasted and primed which will go with the car just need finishing. There is a tiny oil leak from the intercooler drain hole. A drip or two after a long journey. I think it is coming from the Turbo oil seals but the car isn’t losing any oil between services so I don’t think it is too serious. I have been running the car for months like it. The bodywork is as you would expect for a 21 year old car with that mileage. Stone chips on the front and a scuff mark to one side of the front bumper. First signs of bubbling in the rear wheel arches. Peeling lacquer on the boot spoiler. Stone chip at the bottom of the windscreen. Advisories at the last MOT in May for the bushes in the front control arms. Car drives fine and I think they are OK for a bit longer. The car has been well looked after and has a pile of bills to go with it and a full service history from a local independent Volvo garage. I have been averaging 17000 miles a year in it and it has been a great car. After 11 years I fancy a change and just don’t have the time to rectify its little faults. Would make a good project for someone. I would like £500 for it but would welcome offers. I also have a set of Thule square bars and feet for this car and an unused set of Thule snow chains to fit the 15” wheels if anyone is interested make me an offer. I do have some photos but can't get them to show in the post |

Unfortunately I don't have the space to keep the V70 so I can't swap it for another car, sorry.
