  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default brake pads.

Hi Guys, Have just received 2 x sets of pads for my 1991 240 B200F from Brookhouse Volvo and they are not genuine ones they are ProMeister ....iv always used genuine but want to know how these compare to Volvo ones ,,,Can anyone advise please,,regards Adrian... or do i send them back....??

Not a brand I have ever seen. I like the Volvo pads otherwise I use ATE as they did originally supply Volvo brakes.

Well Girling also supplied original parts too - depending on whether you have ATE or girling brakes!

ProMeister are a standard after market supplier of parts - no problem there. The issue will be whether they are up to scratch at all

Why not go to FRF Swansea and order some OEM Volvo pads - all easily available if you are in any doubt?
