That's a good spec to have. Intrested to see how you incorporated the s2000 airbox

It is just the cone from the s2000 that I have, not the intake box. I believe oem paper filters are the best thing for your engine and it so happens that Honda used a massive cone from factory with a built in molded velocity stack. It also fits straight onto a 960 maf and cost me 6.99 from euro car parts so works well as a serviceable item. After advise from Shem about having a cone just open in the engine bay to maximise turbo intake flow I went for it seeing as the charged air is cooled by the intercooler anyway. It works well. I have still to do a dyno update for the 550 injectors, intake and intercooler. Hopeful for 300. I can upload some photos of the intake i made

Intresting. I may have to look into this now then? But I think I rear trailing arms have gone at the moment! Typically really when I was about to sort all of the mounts out will polly bush

To be honest, I've had my 850 for 7 years now and do 40 odd miles a day everyday and have played with the usual mods for extra power along the way, right now and for probably over 2 years now I've been very happy with a 16t turbo, cone filter, silicone hoses, 98 xc70 injectors, walbro fuel pump, standard ecu and a full set of solid engine mounts...
Its a pleasure to drive and pulls all through the revs in any gear at any speed, I've never had this one on a dyno though as I I don't care about the figure but there not many cars beat me off the lights

Good looking car, Craigoodwood. Are there any performance mods you have made and then removed? Have you tried a re-mapped ecu at any point? My 850 is generally stock but I plan to start some mods, trying to figure out which!

Mine is as it left the factory 23 years and 59,000 miles ago apart from a Dayco timing belt (fitted by previous owner 2 weeks before I bought the car, and now the water pump has a very slight weep) I have a new genuine Volvo timing belt, water pump serpentine belt, tensioners and pulleys to fit before I start driving it. It was also supplied with a set of wind deflectors and a set of 5 Columba wheels which the first owner bought just after purchasing the car and I now have a choice of wheels

Looks really clean. So you've got no intentions of making it quicker?

Nope, it's too nice to mess about with so just leaving it as it left the factory
