Default V70TDi drivesahft compatibility?

Guys...

Hopefully one of you can keep me right here. I'm in need of a replacement N/S/F driveshaft for my 1999 V70 TDi manual and would like to know if this is a common part across several models or if the diesel shafts are bespoke? Ie, will a 2.5 Turbo or a T5 shaft fit be suitable?

The part number on mine is: P9463759 or something ending ...990526

Any help would be greatly appreciated gents, my inner CV has exploded (my fault) and having spent 3hrs trying to refit it all, I've discovered the cage is damaged and in my haste, I've damaged the splines on the shaft too.

Bloody cars!

Cheers

V70 I Estate (P80_) 2.0 Turbo 01.97 - 03.00 155 211 1984
V70 I Estate (P80_) 2.0 Turbo 01.97 - 03.00 166 226 1984
V70 I Estate (P80_) 2.0 Turbo AWD 01.97 - 03.00 166 226 1984
V70 I Estate (P80_) 2.4 Turbo 01.97 - 03.00 142 193 2435
V70 I Estate (P80_) 2.5 Turbo AWD 01.97 - 05.00 142 193 2435

As said in my "wanted" thread, in my haste/rage/frustration, I automatically condemned the driveshaft as a complete unit when in reality, the splines I have damaged are on the inner CV joint where it slots into the gearbox. The splines where the inner Cv slots on to the shaft are fine.

So on that basis, the shaft and outer CV are fine so rather than a complete shaft, I should be able to replace the complete innver CV joint - which has damaged splines plus I'm wary that the inner race has also been damaged when it exploded. So, I'm now trying to figure out if the inner CV joints are a common part across several models or if they too are unique to the diesel.

Honestly, this started off as a simple enough job and has grown arms and legs.

Bah!

Anybody able to help here or have access to the Volvo parts catalogue?

Basically, my inner CV joints is ruined... it's not possible to buy a new one new or second hand (via ebay etc) and all the factors have drawn a blank. I also can't get a complete shaft (mine has the bolt in the end) and so I'm now trying to find out if the inner CV joints are common parts across several models?

Can anybody answer this or offer advice?

Getting desperate!
