Default Custom S60R Exhaust manifold in Volvo S40 t4 b4194T

Hello friends, I am writing to you because I have an exhaust manifold from the S60R, and I want to cut a mouth to adapt it to my S40 t4, my question is if it is worth it and if the adaptation is very complicated, thanks

Isnt the S40 a 4 cylinder and the R a 5 cylinder?

Spot on, 5 cylinder, but the bolt pattern is identical, so one port chopped off and the end rewelded means it fits straight on, which hugely opens up options for using other turbos, so far as I know that's all that's needed.

yes, you have to cut and re-weld, the bolts are the same, apart they say that it works very well, I am going to mount camshafts of 2.0 N / A and I want to take advantage of mounting the exhaust manifold of the S60R
