Default Burning Smell

Hi all,

I hope all is well with your T5's !

I have just given mine a blast, which I don't do too often, in the name of keeping the engine in good order !!

I have noticed a burning smell when I got out of the car ?

Can't tell you too much more apart from that I gave it some in sports mode...Is this just the smell of the turbo?, The oil leak that at the bottom of the engine or somthing else ?

Is it an actual 'burning' smell or a 'hot smell? If i've been enjoying myself then all of my cars have had a 'hot' smell, but not burning.

Sorry it's a bit vague, I just hope you know what I mean :)

And I can confirm after being on a race track, T5s certainly produce a 'hot smell' :)

OK

Maybe be it is a hot smell, but having had the car for only a couple of weeks and only really booting it a few times.

Is this a normal smell then?
