S 60 T5 test
Hi all,
Well had my first opportunity to test my new car over the weekend using the Auto and geartronic box. After numerous stopping and starting (with the wife about to throw up) I found on average the geartronic completed 0-60mph in 6.3with tracs off -6.6 secs with it on, depending on the road surface, and excess heat build up from the engine and Turbo made the car run even slower after a while .The Auto ran about 6.9 with tracs off - 7.1 consistently while on .Looking forward to a few other tests before the mods start, see how much of a difference they make . Not as quick as my 850 T5, but a walk in the park to launch the s60 as opposed to the 850. Will keep you updated Jason |

RE: S 60 T5 test
Jason,
Turning STC off should give you better times, because STC cuts engine power to maintain traction, hence careful use of the right foot normally results in faster standing starts. See what I mean about launching the thing - it's easy as pie! Adam. |
