Default v60 wheel scrubbing / slipping at slow speeds

Our Volvo V60 front wheels have got worse lately in that they slip/scrub when going slowly with wheel turned. Seems to be the outside wheel which slips.

really noticed it going up car park ramps, more now than ever before - we've owned thew car 5 years and its not been htis noticable.

Could it it be the CV joint, tyres, suspension? car has just done 60K miles on 12 plate.

Thanks

Think I would get the tracking checked first.

Have exactly the same problem with mine (62 plate).. always at slow speed when turning.. weird thing is in my case the scrubbing seems to dissapear after driving for a few minutes..had it to the garage numberous times and they cant find a problem, but have experienced the scrubbing after leaving it with them overnight.

Tyres are Michelin pilots, 17”
I swapped tyres front to back, seemed ok, but now a week later still problem of wheel slipping/scrubbing when cold and turning hard right at slow speeds.
Could it be the cv joint or splines on the transmission - it’s manual btw.

Steering locks - to confirm this is a v60, not sure I follow?

Could it be the "Ackermann steering geometry" effect? Wheels are 17" and only really occurs when cold and on full lock.

Just realised the wheels are 18" - 235/40WR18 and tyres michelin pilot ps3 XL

could the larger wheel size than standard be the cause?

Mine did it when it was new, stopped after a year, but started doing it again recently.

I'm sure it has something to do with the tyres, but I can't put my finger on it as I've had different make tyres and the tracking done in that time. I've got very worn Michelin's on 17" wheels at the moment. Maybe it's a tyre wear issue?

Summer tyres in the winter? Does it happen when the weather is warmer?
