Unfortunately- no.. Like you said- you disabled the online search- but it will continue using the local copy of the db.. However, you can set your preference on how Gracenote treats multiple results (ie. to prevent it from changing the original media metadata (option 1 - see the instructions below)

That setting is greyed out on mine, no idea why...

Try removing the USB key, changing the setting and then re-inserting the USB.

Still can’t change the GraceNote settings but I am making progress. Playlists in the m3u format seem to work, takes a few mins for them to be indexed an appear on the menu.

m3u file in each sub directory with same name as the sub directory. Someone kindly posted a tool ages that automates the creation.

just go with Spotify and forget your own music library. You will save a lot of time and you will be happier

😅 That’s probably what ‘they’ want me to do.

Looks like the playlists work fine, the rest of the indexing for artists/songs/albums etc is screwed though.

Finally I am getting to know this car and like it...
