240 GLT Saloon LPG for sale
My much loved 240 GLT saloon Manual in silver with LPG conversion is up for sale. I bought it Oct 2007 with 92,000 on the clock. The last owner always took it to the Volvo main dealer and I have receipts that far exceed the value of the car. It has now done 97.000 .
Since I’ve owned it I have fitted a Mike Brace LPG kit at the cost of nearly £500.00, new alternator, new water pump, 2 headlamp reflectors, genuine Volvo HT leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm and NGK plugs clutch slave cylinder and done many other small jobs. The interior full black leather and in very good condition. Everything electric works other than the drivers mirror. The Virgo alloys are in very good condition. Within the past 2 weeks I have put on four tyres, new front disks and pads and rear pads The car was bought with a small bit of damage on the front under the headlamp unit. Unfortunately the rear nearside wheel arch has been damaged when it was scuffed along a wall. Other than this superficial damage there is not a spot of rust on the whole vehicle. The tax runs out at end of Jan, it is MOTed until Nov. I realize I will never reclaim what the vehicle cost me and what I have spent on it. All I want to do is cover my most recent costs and get a bit back on the LPG kit. So £750.00 buys you many years of trouble free motoring in one of Volvos most iconic vehicles. I will split the LPG and car if required. £350 for lpg and £400.00 for car. Thanks Jim. |

Sounds great for the price.
My LPG 240 (converted by Mike Brace) is a comfortable, reliable daily driver with low running costs. This one being a manual is probably a little cheaper to run. Good luck with the sale!
