Default Non-PAS Volvo 360

Hi guys,

I have been considering a Volvo 360, but the one I was looking at has no power steering.

How heavy is the steering likely to be? If it's likely to be really heavy, is there an option to convert to power steering?

Any advice appreciated. Bob

It is possible to convert to pass but if everything is ok with teh front suspension then teh steering is fairly light.

Heavy steering is usualy down to worn stut tops or stiff/binding top damper bearings

The steering is quite heavy on mine but I just grew some muscles and now it's fine. It's abit of a faf around when parking in small areas but at high speed cornering it's amazing.
I probably do have worn stut tops or stiff/binding top damper bearings but I dopn't know where to get any new ones.
You can convert to PAS but you need to buy the PAS steering rack, pump, lines and mount.
