Yes it was done for me as well, although relatively brief.

I have an issue; the upper part of the VOC start screen is now missing the calendar/quick send to car feature. That whole section is just gone. Dont know when it disappeared...i suspect something IOS 12 related. I can still send destinations to the car, when going into the map, typing an address and send. I just really liked the send feature on the front page, as it directly pulls the address of your next appointment from the iphone calendar. I checked all settings, and the app does have access to the calendar etc.

Anyone experienced something similar?

No issue with my iPhone 8 on IOS 12.0.0 with the VOC App Version 4.4.1 as released on 6th Oct.
If you are running the latest above VOC App version per above, then I suggest you update your iPhone’s IOS to 12.0.1 which has just been released which has several fixes.

Thanks for the reply. I updated to the latest 12.0.1 last night, so we will see if that changes anything. Can I ask in what format you input the addresses in your calendar? As the 'send to car' section only shows up, if an address is present for appointments within the next 24 hours, it might also have something to do with how the addresses are input, and how the app reads/interprets the address field.

Here in Denmark, an example could be 'name of street' 'house number' 'postal code' 'city'. But in other countries you input the house number first etc.

In the UK it is normally 'house number' 'name of street' 'city' 'postcode'
