Yes, I remember seeing similar, but i'm pretty sure they are nappa on my car, certainly don't look or feel any different as far as I have noticed. I wonder if its on newer cars, or on Momentum with nappa upgrade.

I believe that the third row seats are vinyl, although you'd never guess by look or feel. I wonder which is more durable, good nappa leather or vinyl?

I've noticed that it's virtually impossible not to scuff against the corner of the powered seat extensions as you enter/exit. Will be watching mine closely.

I spoke too soon yesterday about having a trouble free month. I was fitting the boot cover from the My Volvo offer (it's very good, btw) and had to slide the middle row passenger seat forward as if to get access to the third row. It moved forward easily enough but when slid back the backrest wouldn't return to its normal position without a lot of jiggling about. The driver's side one is fine. I seldom use the third row so I'll wait until the car is going in for something else to have it looked at.

I have had boot liner from early on and yes it is great.

I cannot understand why when the seats were designed, basic things like the wear getting in and out of the car is not considered. I had heard it took 7 years to design these seats!!!.

Its taken me 59 years to design the ham sandwiches I had for lunch. Two minutes to consume them.

Perfection!

Are you sure? Pretty sure I read in the specification somewhere that they are pretend leather at the very back.

Car in Monday to have seat cover replaced. Still waiting for a response from Volvo on the durability of these seats or if it is just a bad batch of leather.

Passenger seat base replaced today, hoping this one will wear better than 6000 miles.

The leather is peeling again on the drivers seat. The base was replaced at 2500 miles, now I have done 6200 miles.
