  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

The main problem for me is that you never know when the car is going to "like" a slot or not. So you go ahead slowly, at the proper distances, etc..... but the car does not want to park there. Then you have to go back (if you still can) and park manually.
So, less work ans stress doing it manually from the beginning.

Exactly. I find it makes parking stressful - hoping it 'finds' the spot you can clearly see whilst sometimes holding up traffic behind (especially roadside parking).

I find it less stressful to park with the mirrors and sensors to be honest

I did use it on a quiet side street once though, in a spot I wouldn't have thought was big enough and it parked flawlessly. But that's about the only time it's been useful rather than a gimmick.

I ordered it when I found out, incredibly, the XC90 MY17 models didn't come with front parking sensors and parking assist option was the only way to get them. Should have pushed the boat out for Xenium in hindsight....
