Default Nov 2019 software messed up Dynamic mode?

Just did my annual service and had the Nov 2019 software installed. Comfort mode shifting is significantly improved, as everyone else noticed - but I don’t like the way it shifts in my favorite drive mode. When in Dynamic it seems like shifts are not as quick and happen later in the rev band than before the update.. is it me or has anyone else noticed this?

Possibly just unlearned your driving style. It should re-learn over a couple of hundred miles.
The 4x4 cars can be forced to unlearn change patterns apparently, by shifting to offroad mode and accellerating until it automatically shifts to comfort mode. I cannot confirm this to be correct and I might have dreamt it.

Yes, that usually works- I’ve done it a couple of times myself- but I’m currently in the Alps, snow covered roads- no option accelerating out of the all wheel drive mode

I hope you’re right and that they haven’t fixed one thing and messed up another..

You do know that it is always in all wheel drive mode I hope. The ‘Offroad’ mode only changes the software mapping to hold low gears for longer and switches stability control off and alters abs parameters. It may also enable second gear start and disables start/stop. You might find it works better in ‘comfort’ mode, but if conditions are of packed snow and speeds below 20mph, maybe not. The gear changes are much harsher in off-road mode.
