Drivers side mirror cover and lens

Mrs Energetic has had a run in with a fat bloke in a fat merc on a narrow bridge. Consequently i now need a mirror cover in tit grey and an indicator lens. I've emailed a few breakers and done a parts request and not heard a thing back, anyone know where i can get them second hand?

£62 for an unpainted mirror cover new seems a bit insane to me, How much would it cost to build a complete V50 from new Volvo spare parts? £100K?

Just a follow up question, is the 04-07 mirror the same as the 08> mirror?

Still looking for the mirror cover/back for a 2009 V50 in Tit grey but will consider other colours if i cant get the grey. Has anyone got any spare after changing to the chrome covers?

Can anyone advise what other models have the same size covers? i'm guessing the s40 2008> but any of the others?

C30
C70 2006 Onwards
S40/V50 2004 Onwards

Should all fit up to about 59 plate when they changed to a larger one.

Plus £62 unpainted sounds bad, you can get them for £82 pre painted! Plus the indicator is only £24.

Thanks Ninja. I've just about given up trying to find one from a breakers and was going to order one new. I may have another look...

VolvoPartsshop had them for £82 bet if you rang you could beat that in honesty.

My local dealer in Exeter quoted £78 painted which still seems extortionate for a small piece of plastic but is about as good as it seems to get.

Be glad you do not have R design ones they are about 15-20 more.

Hi,

I am in same boat as you but no1 wants to sell just cover.

Anyhow Braydon motor company do it 72 painted or 48 in painted (roughly if memory serves me well) so I'm probs headin there next week.
