Default Same problem

Thanks for this.
This same issue arose on my 2018 volvo v90 Cross Country which i have onlyy had for 2 months as an ex demonstrator, yesterday, called my volvo service dealer (spoke to a new service assistant) who advised this wasn't a problem they were aware ;of despite me advising them of this thread ? Car booked in for Saturday but advised in the interim to contact volvo assist which i will be doing later today.

Smile Auto hold service required

Yesterday, I got a dashboard warning of Auto Hold Service required. I tried the solution of enabling the auto parking brake and it seems to have solved the problem.

Settings > my car > parking brake and suspension > auto activate parking brake

Is there a reason why this wasn't enabled prior?
