Default Sat Nav - won't load

The Sat nav on my 2013 V70 does not work and everytime I start the car I get a "Failed to install, please eject and re-insert the disc" (or similar). Although I use my mobile for navigation, having the clear this everytime is annoying! I have 2 sets of DVD's for the Sat nav installation but neither set seems to work. Is there anyway I can install the software ot just stop this annoying message please? I have a VIDA system if that helps?

What happens if you don't have the DVD inserted?

Same happens whether there is a disc in or not. DVD player does work and plays DVD MP3 discs with no problems. Thanks for the reply

The navigation system in these cars is supposed to run from the hard disk in the car. The DVD are used only to update the map data on the disk.

So if it can't start from the hard disk, there's something wrong with the data and/or the program in the system. Which navigation software version does your car have?
