  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

I had the same problem this week.
2016 XC90 D5 parked in car park and car would not start after returning. Everything lightenng up, no error messages just engine would not fire.
VOC called mechanic out: checked battery-fine, fiddled around with key fob for a while (as I would not have done that already) and said car will need to be recovered. 3 hours later the car was craned out of the car park and brought to Volvo garage in Bristol.
Thankfully it was the car park of a nice pub

Fault: steeing column sensor/ lock

It seems that they new about this fault (apparantly a Volvo technical bulletin entry exists). They replaced it free of charge inspite of the car not covered by warranty anymore.
They stated that Volvo will replace it for free for cars upto 5 years old!
