  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Throttle cable 1.4 GL 1989

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I need a good throttle cable assy for above car, has a Webber carb.

if you send your old cable to speedy cables in swansea they will make you up a new one ...

Thanks, but I want to keep it on the car, it's working, but is very rough and also a bit frayed, really want a replacement that I can swap over. Failing that, I may try them.

Well, I've found the throttle cable from the 1.7 GLE that I had, it's a little different to the 1.4 GL cable, but I reckon that with a little modification, it will be fine.

The 1.4 GL passed the MOT today, I'm pleased.
