Default V50: which fuel pressure sensor do I need?

I have another thread open discussing whether I need a new fuel pressure sensor on my MY2004 2.4i petrol V50.

If I do need one, can someone please advise which one I need and where the best place is to get one as cheap as possible?

The current part is showing a part number of 8699448 but I'm not sure if this has been superceded by a different part since 2004?

If anyone knows of an alternative non-Volvo version (e.g. I think from other forums the above part is also fitted on some Land Rovers and was cheaper through LR than Volvo) that would be great too.

As always, I really appreciate the advice offered on here.

Try to just remove the sensor , shake it / clean with electronics cleaner or isoprophanol and put back in and clear code , if you are unlucky then you will need to change the O ring on the sensor, this helped on a V50 I fixed 1 year ago that had this showing up as fault code , the sensor itself is a very expensive part and is probably the same as focus RS170 sensor , check the bosch number as x-reference.

Thanks, Getsome. I've cleaned the contacts on both ends and will try it for a few days and see how it goes.

I've cleared all codes but one remains: 250A Long-term fuel trim (that's all it says, no mention of upper or lower limit). Not sure if this is something that will disappear (assuming cleaning the sensor has worked) once the fuel trims adjust over time?

This can clear by itself but if you have access to Vida/Dice I would also reset the adaptation values for the ECM , this can if you are lucky "cure" the problem.
