Default Stone Whack! :-(

Driving along at the weekend and what I can only think was a stone whacks the windscreen and promptly bounces off the paintwork above!! Now have a nasty search down to the metal in the paint!!

Modern paint is so weak these days.....and thin! Shocking....

Its so sickening when that happens, stone hit my screen last week, I was lucky this time, no damage. Same stretch of the A19 Tees flyover as I had my last car windscreen cracked, that XC90 only had 400 miles on the clock, sickener.

It does get tougher though, after a couple of months, once its cured properly..

I’d just buy some touchup paint from volvo and fix it up myself.. slim chance it’ll be visible if it’s above the windshield..

Ah.. beautiful Basingstoke.

Many many years ago I got run-over on the first bridge you passed (survived quite intact). And seem to remember being in a Fiat Panda that drove over the second pedestrian bridge.
But long before either of those we used to jump on the freight trains on the third bridge and ‘surf’ through Basingstoke station.

Unsure as to how I am still here!!

When we are young we are so damn reckless. We just enjoy life and have fun. Best time of our lives for sure.
