Washed and cleaned my 2003 S60 today, inside and out.

She goes in for its MOT on Tuesday, just under 194K miles. There is a knocking sound from the front left on rough terrain, I hope thats not the new lower arm put on last year failed already. Really want it to be a droplink joint failed.

I would like to sort the drivers seat, the leather is cracked and there is dirt ingrained in those cracks which really detracts from the otherwise brilliant condition interior.

Bled the brakes on my V70. Forgot just how good freshly bled brakes feel.

Today I drove my Volvo! For the first time in 10 months my S60 has moved off the drive, took it and dropped it off for an MOT and blew the cobwebs out on the way. Just hoping it’s not an expensive MOT or it’ll be parked up again!

Today I fitted my new rear Koni Yellow Sports adjustable shocks that I got for £70 for the 2 new old stock, I looked and the normal selling price is £240 for two,

I set them to one compete turn that is 50% setting as I have Eibach springs fitted, Koni say to set them 25-50% for uprated springs,
I have only done 2 miles but they seem very comfortable,
the only thing is if I want to re-adjust them I have to remove them to change the settings,

just ordered new rear shocks, hopefully stop the clunking
and new front lower ball joints, hopefully stop the creaking

Ordered full set of engine mounts and both front wishbones. ‘Bout time I spoiled the old girl....

Today I picked up my car from its MOT, only £480

for 2 rear springs, rear brake overhaul and 2 front brake flexi’s I did think about part exchanging it against a Ferrari 488 Pista but then remembered the 488 doesn’t have a clip to hold your parking ticket against the windscreen, so I’ll stick with the S60 for another year.
