Default Dinks in V50 floating console surface

As much as I like the design of the centre 'floating' console, the material used isn't as robust as it might be. My R-Design trim has a dark grey 'metallic' effect with fine line textured detail to it. It now has three small dents in it too... One culprit an iPhone dropping on it from 10cm height!!

Anyone managed to remove these minor dinks on theirs? Must be quite common, I saw them on nearly every used V50 I looked at!

Thanks

R

Yep, it's borked I'm afraid. Metal finish is bonded to plastic base so you can't push them back from behind. That's why I went for wood finish. You can always rub it down a bit and oil it or something.

Get the plastic trim and get it painted. I did that and absolutely no problems what so ever with dings I used to have the alloy trim and loved it at first but the dings and dents got on my nerves!

I just bought a set in light oak which I am going to sand and coat with danish oil.
