Also not searching for a super increase in power but the optimization part is really the key here.
Just for info, I drive mostly in the ECO mode for now. The car only has 1600 km and the mileage is not super for now.
When i change to the dynamic mode that i really enjoy, then the whole hell breaks lose and my consumption increases in about 40%.
The Polestar optimization could be a long term investment where i could get that money back in 3 to 4 years if driving in dynamic mode because the consumption will also improve with the optimization.
Thanks
Convince yourself of that and be happy.

Anyone here had it done on a XC70? What extra NM and HP did you get from it? Cheers

Dont expect any improvement in mileage per litre. In fact youll be lucky to stay the same if you belt it.

Just for curiosity... when did you start driving your car? I mean when did you pick up your car at the dealership? Just to see your mileage average.

I picked it up at the end of December.
My mileage avarege is a disaster. I'm driving ECO all the time and I'm able to do 38mpg. Driving in Confort or dynamic, it's more 32mpg.
According to the dealer, this should arrive to values on the range of 47 mpg when the car reaches the 10.000km mark. Lets see...

Regarding the polestar upgrade, not that I lost interest, but I will postpone a bit the decision. I got tons of invoices to pay in the beginning of the year so ill park this for a bit.

Thank you for the above mpg data, but unless we know what car/engine you have are driving we cannot comment on your posting - perhaps trying adding a signature to your forum ID to save you from having to type it in every single time.

I would be really pleased with your mpg data with my engine.

I deliberated on a polestar upgrade for my V90 D4 and thought I'd ask a couple of knowledgable friends, one being my local Volvo dealer's service manager and the other is one of his Master Technicians.

I was half expecting a resounding "yes", but their individual answers........"save your money and spend it on something you really want or need!"

Says it all really.
