Why would you even consider 'yes' under these circumstances?
You might get air suspension, but you'll also get ground glass in your food!

I said no and mine comes in 2 months without but with plenty of other stuff.

Some people on here made casual comments about standard suspension being woeful but chose not to try and back it up, so I can only assume that their opinion is not re-enforced by any particular knowledge or experience.

The only reference I have found in car tests was the DT which said standard was so good that it wasn't worth bothering with air.

We have Inscription model with air suspension running on 20" wheels fitted with Continental tyres. The ride overall is rather dissapointing but for the reason please see an other thread , re the tyre noise.

Hope you will make the correct decision otherwise it is a lot of money wasted.

The only true way is for SWMBO to test drive one with and one without. It worked for me the easy entry/exit as well as been able to drop the back of the car for our dogs won her over even before she noticed the smoother ride.

Choosing or not air suspension depends on the intended use of the car:
- Do you plan yo go off-road? Air suspension is a clear asset.
- Do you drive somehow "spirited" or by twisty roads? Air suspension behaves better than conventional, the car is totally horizontal and feels better.

Otherwise, for city driving and/or lots of highway, air suspension is not so worth.
