1961 B16 Amazon with bench seat
Hi, somthing has to go, nobody wants my estate (which im not very upset about) so thought we'd test the water with the otherhalfs saloon.
Excellent car, interior is spotless. underneath is spotless. all original underseal, no welding ever. no rust. exterior, needs a respray for you concours nuts. but i love the og paint, has had a pair of steel front wings in the recent past, so these are slightly shinier. reg number is valued at £3000. have had an imediediate cash offer from one of the big companys of £1000 to buy in into their stock. it runs like a swiss watch, used daily. the B16 is as sweet as can be. has had recent brake shoes all round. converted to 12volt but i have everything to put it back to 6 if you dont like lights and wipers that work. i have a garage of hard to find spares that can also be negotiated on. £2750 negotible 07748480561 Last edited by Dr Atomic; May 16th, 2012 at 19:13. |

Looks lovely.
Have you thought of advertising on some of the Hotrod forums, e.g NSRA? Amazons seem to fit in nicely with both the originality classic fiends, and the Hotrod types as well, which can only be good. The Bubble Cambridge looks cool too! James. |

yeah, but this is to good to rod! really it is! its hard for me to say that, im a dragracer born and bred, but it would be a shame to cut this up.
if it doesnt sell though....hmmmm, i'll do it myself!!! the cambridge is a kool old bus, both the girlfriends cars, amazon for the week, cambridge for the weekend, if only the amazon was better on fuel, it'd be staying, but the 35 mile a day comute is getting more and more expensive for her! |

I remember this one at the 120 midlands - if only I had room for another one in my collection. |

This is now no longer living with us, has gone to a happy home near ipswich, having been swapped for a car that has put possibly the biggest smile on my face of any car ever. even if it is a non volvo.

Hope you got more than 3000 worth! That model is rare as hen's teeth and the bench seat makes it even more rare. Only seen one for sale with a bench seat ever.
Supposedly there's a whole ship filled with these somewhere on the bottom of the ocean near Egypt.... |
