I just bought mine from Ebay - £322 including p&p. Took two days to arrive and they came in a massive Volvo box. They are from Stratsone in Nottingham.

They're currently sitting in the garage waiting for an XC90 to keep them company.

They have the part number 30660527 which differs from the number on Volvo's website, hence my earlier question.

Good luck installing ém.
I believe you will need to take off rear doors to have them fitted...

They came with the instructions posted above.

Shouldn't pose too much of a problem, I even have a torque wrench !

I am hoping that there's enough clearance to manage without raising the vehicle.

To help anyone else & answer my own question....

30660527 is just the running boards

31214027 is the part number for the kit that comprises of the running boards (30660527 ) & also the 4 rubber? steps that stick on (30763318)

Miketango,

after taking delivery of my new XC90 Active last week I today fitted the Volvo running boards myself. You'll be pleased to know as you suspected it's a very simple job, and indeed there's no need to raise the car (unless you have a phobia of lying on the floor).

I'd reccomend a second pair of hands is available, just to help when initialy offering them up under the car, but only needed briefly to start the bolts. You should have it done in an hour.

Ordered them with my xc90 and they came with the rubber sections in font of the doors and they do look good .

I know I'm biased as its my car but I was worried how it would look with a slab of silver down each side but when I saw the rubber bits on it I was dead chuffed .

Thanks Paul - I'm getting mine done through them too but they've said that the rubber strips are £20
