Default Fuse help pleeeeaaase !!

Trying to hardwire a Nextbase kit into the fuse under the glovebox
I've tried the rear wiper blade fuses 58 & 77 reversing light as suggested in another thread.
Camera comes on straight away with ignition on and does not go off when the doors are shut and the car is locked?!!
Am I doing something wrong??
Unfortunately I don't have an electrical tester and I can't find my electrical screwdriver typical
routing the wire to the fuses under the seat will be pain.
12 volt socket in the arm rest is under the bonnet not an option!!
Any suggestions

I connected my dash cam to the back of the power socket under the arm rest with a separate inline fuse in the new supply cable. It switches off with the ignition - well, actually after the delay programmed into the dashcam, but it runs on its internal battery after the ignition is switched off.

for those who were wondering fuse 58 does work it just take a little longer to turn off than I anticipated. Takes about a minute and a half.
