  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Unhappy radio car code

PLease help me i take the battery of the car and now the radio ask for a code and i don´t have someone can help me if these.
V40 xs registration mark W582 C00 validation character G,serial number of the radio is V00690X3089389F.

Hi Diana,

ring your volvo dealer, they should provide the information for free, if not try another.

if the code does not work, either the radio has been changed or the code has been changed.

Default Radio codes.

Hello All,

I'm a newby to this superb forum and I have to check on the sidelight fuse which is under the bonnet, This will zap the radio! My reg no is TG51VAG, can anyone help, please?

Is there not something about leaving the ignition on for about 2hrs or something that resets it and makes it work? Not ideal if the car lives on a street but i'm sure someone said it worked.

Contact your local dealer or Rufe on here (He works at a dealers), you'll need your reg no and most probably the VIN number. Shouldn't cost you anything

Nah mate, thats what you need to do if you have entered the code wrongly too many times.

Hi I saw on the forum that you was able to get radio code for a Volvo. I wondered if you could get the code for my radio my reg is r480cno. reply on forum or my email is ed.robinson82@aol.com many thanks ed

mr Ed, please contact your local volvo dealership with the information you have provided here.

it should be free and take 5 minutes over the phone, if the code does not work it may have been changed and you will have to take it to volvo to get decoded or find someone nearby with a dice unit (although that will need checking)

Any future posts about getting the radio codes, please try a couple of dealerships before comming to the forum, there is little else we can do appart from advise you of where to obtain the codes from
