You know..worth a pause for thought, at least for me. I think it's quite amazing that these cars are still rolling 40 odd years after the last one left the factory and quite a lot of them being used as dailys..says something about their construction and simpleness. I doubt theres any untouched ones left and they've been welded on and panels/engines etc changed out but the fact is there's still quite a few on the roads ..

True, I recall Volvo's ads in the 70's talked about how they have a life expectancy of over TEN! years. Here we are...40-50 years later. |
